It was a historic moment for the Gingins Cricket Club/Geneva Region Youth Cricket Club when the u9 Dragonflies made their tournament debut at the u11 GRYCC Summer Cup. Playing against 3 u11 teams, the Dragonflies were a reminder of everything that is good about cricket. They might have been outplayed but they were not overawed and managed to bat out their full quota of overs in every single game. They also gained some valuable tournament and match experience along the way, which will hold them in good stead in the future.
