In great news for cricket in Switzerland, it has become an associate member of the ICC.

Dear Cricket Switzerland Members
On behalf of the CS Executive Committee I am pleased and proud to inform you that the International Cricket Council (ICC) has accepted the application by Cricket Switzerland for Switzerland to become an ICC Associate Member, with immediate effect.
We thank all Cricket Switzerland members for your support over the past years of our quest to re-join cricket’s peak international body. It has not been an easy process but your continuing belief and patience in achieving our objective is very much appreciated.
Membership of both the ICC and Swiss Olympic provides us with an opportunity to elevate further the visibility and status of cricket in Switzerland and to participate officially in European ICC cricket events.
The Cricket Switzerland AGM decision to re-brand Cricket Switzerland will proceed in the coming months, using the ICC membership as a springboard to attract greater interest and hopefully more sponsorship from within Switzerland.
